This three-day programme has been designed to provide practical training to Norwegian lawyers involved in the negotiation and drafting of contracts in English.

The seminar will focus on how to draft contracts clearly and concisely using plain English. Communicaid's team of legal English trainers will provide you with practical advice on everyday drafting challenges. The seminar combines workshops, role-plays, discussion forum and formal input to provide a solid overview of the key areas of contracts drafting and an in-depth coverage of the technical language and grammar involved.

Allan Simmons - Legal and Business English Trainer

LLB RSA CTEFLA. Allan Simmons is a qualified solicitor in French and English law and has extensive experience in business, law and corporate language training. His legal background has taken him around the world training lawyers and judges on human rights’ issues and he is the author of several articles and publications on the subject. He worked a consultant to the UN Development Programme in Tashkent, The Criminal Defense Resource Centre in Kosovo and has lectured for the Council of Europe in Albania, Moldova, Romania, Bosnia and Kosovo.

Allan Simmons has been working with Communicaid since 1997 and has taught a wide variety of lawyers and senior business people, both native and non-native speakers from around the world on an intensive and extensive basis. His communicative approach and unique background enable him to offer focused skills’ training, including advanced writing, presentation and negotiating skills.
